Click on the Tamper Protection tab and uncheck the box for Protect Symantec security software from being tampered with or shut down.Click Uninstall in the toolbar that appears. You can enable this option with client installation settings. As of SEP 14, you can incorporate CleanWipe functionality directly into the Symantec Endpoint Protection client package.CleanWipe does not support command line use you must manually run CleanWipe.To remove NortonLifeLock software, see Download and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool. CleanWipe only removes Symantec software, such as Symantec Endpoint Protection.While CleanWipe can remove older installations of Symantec Endpoint Protection, you should not use an older version of CleanWipe to remove a newer version, as this action can have unexpected results. You should always use the latest version of the CleanWipe removal tool to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection.You should only use CleanWipe as a last resort when the usual uninstallation methods are unsuccessful. Broadcom Support does not recommend using CleanWipe the first time you have uninstallation trouble.Navigate to the Data Insight Servers page, select the worker node, and click Delete.If you uninstall a worker node, log in to the Management Console, click the Settings tab.
Click Finish to complete the uninstall process.The uninstaller removes all Symantec Data Insight components. Do not select this option, if you are attempting to repair the installation by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. In the Delete Data window, select the Delete all product data checkbox to remove all configuration as well as audit log data collected and stored by the product.On Linux, execute the script /opt/DataInsight/uninstall to launch the uninstall program. This file is located in the Data Insight installation folder (for example, C:\Program Files\Symantec\DataInsight).
Optionally, you can uninstall Symantec Data Insight using the uninstall.exe file. If no shortcuts exist, open the Add or Remove Programs control from the Windows Control Panel, and select the Symantec Data Insight entry.
